Getting away from behind the desk

Most of my days are spent working behind a desk using a computer. While I do enjoy what I do for a living, I still look forward to riding my bike each and every day.

I ride to work in the morning and it helps me to get my thoughts straight for the day. The exercise helps me to stay focused throughout the day as I face each new challenge.

By the end of the day I am mentally exhaused and can hardly wait until I am able to put on my helmet and start the journey home.

No matter how long the journey, I love being able to clear my mind from all the day's thoughts and worries as I focus on pedalling up hills and across long stretches of road. Sometimes it feels as though all that I can hear is the sound of my breathing as I push my body to it's limits. When I'm in "the zone", I feel like I am experiencing perfect bliss.

Being able to get out from behind my desk each day is something I look forward to each and every day! If you find yourself in the same position and havent taken up cycling then I highly recommend that you try it. I know you'll love it!
